Meet Your Facilitators

Amanda and Cora

Cora and Amanda first met in junior high show choir, where they wore fabulous matching teal sequined dresses, blue eye shadow, and hot pink lipstick.  Despite very different backgrounds and life paths, their friendship deepened through decades living in different states and continents as they built their education, careers, and partnerships.

After Cora trained in Brené Brown’s work, she could not wait to share it with Amanda. Despite initial skepticism, Amanda was sold after reading Braving the Wilderness and attending her first workshop. Both have experienced such a positive impact of practicing the work in their personal and professional lives, they formed a business partnership to share the evidence-based, practical, and authentic ways to show up in relationships with others.  Their different and complementary  backgrounds combine splendidly.

They are at the top of each other’s 1×1 square because they prioritize the relationship and work hard to show up for each other in their beautiful, messy lives.

What sets us apart from the crowd?

Cora and Amanda practice what we teach, as we apply the concepts into our own relationships.  You will find the following themes in all of our programs because it’s what actually works to build healthy habits.

Practical application

We help build bridges over the chasm between reading something and applying it into life. We focus on learning concepts, as well as implementing practical plans to build habits and systems into daily life.

Integration of personal and professional lives

We teach as a team to embody and apply the concepts across the spectrum of our lives. We focus on skills to show up authentically in any environment.

Licensed and Credentialed

Given our respective licensure and credentialing, we hold ourselves and our work to the highest ethical standards in our industries.

Evidence-based concepts and techniques

Based on our educational and professional backgrounds, we both care deeply about teaching research-supported content.

Courageous Communication

We empower others to build optimal relationships with shared language, kind and candid conversations, and the ability to navigate conflict in a healthy way.
